I just wanted to add the comment that I was in the SHU there in 2000-2001. I was 21 years old and didnt "do" anything to get in there, I was validated, one of the only six women in the whole state as far as I know. Because of my friends/family/beliefs, I was locked down in that God forsaken shithole. Everything about it, treatment, environment, injustice by the co's, all of it is wrong.
